We heard many times the phrase “Be Strong”. Being strong means to overcome challenges in life, using your human capacities, your talents, your wisdom, your experience, your physical strength.

Physical strength defines the capacity of an individual to do certain acts, mainly related to the human body of physical abilities. In sports like MMA, boxing, wrestling, running, etc. physical health is linked to physical strength. If you’re sick you’re weak, if you’re healthy you feel strong.

There is another strength I want to talk about and that is the inner strength. especially the strength that God can give you. Let’s read on Isaiah 40:31 “Those wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

This is special strength that comes to you. Trust in God. There is nothing like it. The power of God in us gives us strength in times of trouble, in times of pain, physical and emotional pain, in times of doubt, and in times when we need to make important decisions. The scripture says that He will give us new strength. Yes my friend, we all need new strength.

Being strong in the spirit means to trust in Jesus our Savior. The more we let Jesus take control of our lives, the more spiritually strong we are. You can be stronger in the spirit every day when Jesus is in your heart. Remember that the Spirit of Jesus is in you every moment; the first step is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
